Central CA Territory Manager - Technical Adhesive Sales
Ultimate Staffing is seeking a self-motivated and confident individual for the role of Central CA Territory Manager in Technical Adhesive Sales. The position focuses on securing new accounts and maintaining existing customer relationships within a specific geographic territory, emphasizing business development in the adhesive and chemical manufacturing sectors.
Responsibilities
Drive New Business Growth Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new customers to expand the overall customer base and strengthen market presence
Grow & Retain Existing Accounts
Build lasting partnerships with current customers while increasing sales, profitability, and long‑term value
Understand Customer Needs Continuously assess customer goals, challenges, and opportunities to deliver tailored solutions that support their success
Build Trusted Relationships Develop strong, influential relationships with key decision‑makers across all organizational levels
Source New Opportunities Leverage digital tools, industry events, trade shows, and inbound leads to create a robust pipeline of prospective accounts
Maintain High Sales Activity Consistently meet or exceed activity expectations, providing regular updates and insights to management
Develop Strategic Proposals Create and present compelling sales proposals that align with customer needs and position Applied Adhesives as the preferred partner
Manage Key Account Plans Build detailed customer plans and growth strategies for high‑value accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Communicate Professionally Uphold exceptional communication standards in all internal and external interactions
Represent the Organization Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements
Collaborate Cross‑Functionally Work closely with Marketing, Purchasing, Customer Service, and other departments to deliver a seamless customer experience
Travel as Needed Perform overnight travel to meet with customers and support business development efforts
Champion Safety Follow all safety procedures and complete required training in a timely manner
Support Continuous Improvement Identify areas for process enhancement and contribute to overall operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Self‑starter with a strong hunter mentality, able to proactively pursue and close new business
Technical sales experience within the chemical manufacturing industry; coatings, adhesives, or sealants experience strongly preferred
Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years in business development, with a focus on generating new customers and revenue growth
Familiarity with Challenger or Sandler sales methodologies
Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce a plus)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
