Aircraft Mechanic -- CH47
Science and Engineering Services, LLC is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I/Crewmember to coordinate with other crewmembers on aircraft assessments and perform servicing duties. The role involves repairing and overhauling aircraft and engines to ensure their airworthiness, as well as interpreting maintenance manuals and performing various service tasks.

Responsibilities
Services, repairs, and overhauls aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness
Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills
Reads and interprets manufacturers' and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
Performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes
May be required to be licensed by Federal Aviation Administration
May service engines and airframe components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Two years direct experience in aircraft maintenance or Military technical school with an Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) License required
Meet AR 95-20 qualifications
Participate in Hazardous Flight duties
Preferred
Technical or Military School Training preferred
May be required to be licensed by Federal Aviation Administration
