Responsibilities
Create detailed 3D part and assembly models in Fusion 360
Produce 2D fabrication and machining drawings
Collaborate with mechanical engineers on design iterations
Apply design-for-manufacturing best practices
Maintain organized CAD file structures and version control
Review builds on the shop floor and assist in resolving design or assembly challenges
Support other department tasks as needed in a small-team environment
Qualification
Required
1–2+ years of professional 3D CAD design experience
Proficiency in Fusion 360 for commercial mechanical design
Ability to provide a portfolio or examples of prior design work
Strong attention to detail and mechanical design intuition
Ability to work full-time on-site in Canby, Oregon
Must complete a short practical design project during the interview process
Preferred
Experience with industrial or mechanical equipment
Familiarity with manufacturing processes or machine shop environments
General Knowledge a plus: ASME, GD&T, or mechanical drafting standards
