Director – Strategic Programs

Responsibilities

Establish and oversee PMO standards, methodologies, and tools to ensure consistent execution across strategic programs
Define program governance, reporting cadence, and effective facilitation processes
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex programs on time, within scope, and budget
Drive initiatives in AI adoption for operational efficiency, cost-of-quality reduction strategies, pricing optimization, and other strategic priorities
Partner with senior leadership to align programs with corporate objectives and communicate progress effectively
Host executive steering committees and ensure transparency on plans, progress, KPIs and ROI
Implement best practices for program lifecycle management, including lessons learned and process optimization
Champion data-driven decision-making and digital transformation initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years in program or project portfolio management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Proven success in establishing PMO frameworks and managing enterprise-level programs
Experience with leading transformational projects in a manufacturing or life sciences environment
Strong leadership and influencing skills across matrix organizations
Expertise in financial modeling, risk management, and change management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Broad business acumen and strong facilitation skills to help others think in new ways
Design-based thinking approach to orient teams to new and novel solutions

Preferred

MBA or PMP certification
Consulting experience
