Responsibilities
Support and optimize transfer center workflows, including scaling from single-hospital transfers/admissions to enterprise-wide workflows across all five hospitals
Partner with operational and clinical stakeholders to redesign, standardize, and deploy admissions and transfer workflows to support system-wide consistency and efficiency
Transition from accommodation-based coding to true level-of-care workflows
Remove end-user ability to manually edit level of care where inappropriate
Ensure workflows support downstream clinical, operational, and reporting needs (non-billing focused)
Qualification
Required
Epic Grand Central Certification
Epic Prelude Certification
Strong functional knowledge of Epic Grand Central and Prelude build, configuration, and maintenance
Proven experience supporting transfer center, admissions, and patient placement workflows in a health system environment
Expertise in workflow analysis, process redesign, and enterprise standardization
Ability to translate operational requirements into Epic configuration and governance controls
Experience working in complex, multi-hospital Epic environments
