Responsibilities

Leads & executes across all phases of the design process from conception to implementation, including wireframing, prototyping, and visual design

Plans & executes user research and gathers qualitative data to help build hypothesis & design recommendations

Frequently partners and collaborates with internal stakeholder leads (Product Management, Engineering etc.) to ensure consistency with broader product and company goals

Strong and demonstrated understanding of design processes and best practices

Proactively identifies and provides thoughtful solutions to complex design problems

May review work and provide direction to more junior level staff

Required

Must have a design portfolio demonstrating strong UX and visual design solutions, with an emphasis on identifying and meaningfully solving true user problems

Must have 6+ years of professional experience, specifically as a Product Designer of direct-to-consumer applications

Must have extensive experience in responsive web-based design and delivery

Must have masterful Figma skills including a solid understanding of Design Systems/Design Kits and prototyping

Must have excellent communication, collaboration, and team partnership skills

A willingness to roll up your sleeve and get things done is key for this role, as is being able to take smart risks and champion innovative ideas

BA or equivalent work experience
