Responsibilities

Develop business with national and regional accounts
Management of sales strategy / budget
Ensure the continuous improvement of our commercial program per assigned accounts
Apply sales strategy / Plan of action
Monitor industry trends and new development, collect competitor and market information Provide various reports to the Director of Sales
Develop effective relationships with the technical support managers Reporting duties will include:
Sales monthly report: Sales, Margin table, project review, nonconformities, etc. Sales-Indicators
Sales and margin
Comparison of forecasted and actual sales
Customers’ non-conformities
Develop an “inter-dependent” relationship with his or her team members
Ability to identify customer needs and sell solutions not just products
Ability to conduct technical discussion and/or presentations
Answer technical concerns and provide solutions (or engage technical peer)
Ability to stay organized while simultaneously running a variety of projects with different customers as well as reporting and plans
Ability to work independently and as part of a team and be self-directed and motivated

4-10 years successful B to B sales experience in Pet food, human food or feed industry/ingredients
Strong strategic and customer focus profile, enabling development of plan of actions / tactics
Outstanding communication ability

Preferred

Undergraduate or master's degree in science preferably food technology or related discipline
Pet Food Ingredient Sales experience
Prior experience working in an international company
