Responsibilities

Assist with Design Review for Power, Power Delivery, and Renewable Projects
Attend Factory Acceptance Tests for Electrical Equipment (MV, LV Switchgears, Transformers, Relay Panels, etc.)
Develop Electrical Initial Energization Procedures (Switchyard, Back-feed, Switchgears, Initial Synch, etc.)
Travel to project site for short duration as needed to carry out audit, review energization plan, and assist with major energization evolution if needed
Work with projects start-up team with onsite activities such as the following if needed
Familiarity with component testing and commissioning aspects of following major electrical equipment & protection scheme will be an added advantage:
220KV, 345KV Breakers
Generator Circuit Breakers
MV & LV Switchgears and MCCs
CTs, PTs, CVTs, and one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, control & protection schematics

Required

Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited Engineering Institute
0-2 years of experience as a commissioning engineer or related position preferably including: NETA, IEEE Testing standards
NFPA 70E and able to demonstrate safe electrical troubleshooting skills
Committed to promoting a culture of safety within our organization and alongside all our clients

Work productively and meet deadlines timely
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required
May work at various different locations and conditions may vary
