Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp / XenDesktop)
Manage and optimize Citrix infrastructure performance, availability, and stability
Configure and maintain: Citrix Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Director, and NetScaler / ADC
Monitor Citrix environments and proactively troubleshoot issues
Perform upgrades, patches, and version migrations
Support user access, profiles, and policies
Work closely with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams
Ensure environments meet security, compliance, and best-practice standards
Provide documentation and operational support as required
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience as a Citrix Administrator
Strong hands-on expertise with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops
Strong hands-on expertise with Citrix NetScaler / ADC
Strong hands-on expertise with Windows Server environments
Solid experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting
Solid experience with user profile management (FSLogix, UPM, or similar)
Solid experience with Citrix policies and access controls
Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work in a hybrid on-site / remote model
Must be based in the Houston area
Preferred
Experience with cloud-hosted Citrix (Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS, or similar)
PowerShell scripting experience
Citrix certifications (CC-VAD, CCA, CCP)
Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments
