Responsibilities
Able to lead testing activities on large enterprise projects or multiple smaller projects including delivery of test strategy test plan and test status
Assist in onboarding testers
Lead projects through a standard software testing methodology including test planning test scope identification test case development test execution and defect management
Oversee projects to ensure work is scheduled based on priorities risks and team strengths and assist with assignment of resources
Demonstrate leadership and accountability for testing on assigned projects
Exhibit confident and tactful oral communication with peers and IT leaders
Develop and deliver formal written communication to IT and business leaders with support from QA Manager
Deliver day to day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail
Independently drive issues to closure and escalate to leadership when needed
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions when appropriate
Apply a systematic approach to data gathering and analysis to support fact based decisions
Successfully multitask across project and non project assignments while delivering on time with prioritization guidance from QA Manager
Qualification
Required
5 to 7 years of experience working on omni channel order management and warehouse management projects with demonstrated test leadership experience
Retail experience required
Strong experience leading end to end integration testing across enterprise systems including POS web OMS financial and warehouse management systems
Experience coordinating testing efforts across multiple teams and vendors
Hands on experience with Manhattan WMS POS systems and SAP CAR
Prior experience coordinating UAT including environment readiness test data setup and defect triage
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies including waterfall iterative and agile
Experience delivering testing services in an onshore offshore model
Strong experience with HP ALM JIRA or other test and defect management tools
Strong organizational and planning skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Proactive participation in a team environment
Strong documentation and communication skills
Demonstrates pride in delivering high quality work to meet the needs of client and customers
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) or equivalent experience
