Responsibilities
Maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software, including multi-user applications and servers
Implement and oversee security measures like firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection, and VPNs to protect against unauthorized access
Resolve network connectivity issues, hardware/software problems, and provide technical assistance to end-users
Create and maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, policies, and procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
6–8+ years of experience in network engineering
Good knowledge of Cisco Nexus devices and FortiGate firewalls
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching
Experience configuring and managing routers, switches, and firewalls
Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and security protocols
Experience implementing and managing backup/disaster recovery plans
Preferred
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to interact with internal/external clients and handle escalations
Highly committed to meeting business objectives
