Responsibilities

User Support: Manage new user onboarding, workstation imaging, and configuration
Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve remote user and system infrastructure issues
Infrastructure Monitoring: Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability
System Upgrades: Plan and coordinate system outages and upgrades
Network Maintenance: Monitor and maintain network systems
Equipment Installation: Install server and network equipment in a data center environment
Documentation: Document infrastructure architecture changes and updates
HelpDesk Support: Resolve user requests and issues reported to the HelpDesk
After-Hours Support: Occasionally support after-hours system upgrades

Required

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required
Bachelor's degree in a technology-related discipline and 10 years of related experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree)
3+ years of experience with Linux operating systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Experience maintaining virtual environments and deploying Linux services
Understanding of basic networking technologies (TCP/IP, UDP, Firewall)

Preferred

Familiarity with virtualization and Docker technologies
Experience with automation tools such as Salt, Ansible, or Puppet
Proficiency with Atlassian software (Confluence, JIRA)
Experience with a wide variety of open-source software and utilities
Experience managing FreeIPA or LDAP-based systems
Background in network security, intrusion detection, and server monitoring
Familiarity with server and networking equipment rack installations
