Responsibilities
Evaluates reliability of materials, properties and techniques used in production; plans, designs and develops electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment and packaging, optical systems and/or DSP systems
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Typically requires a minimum of 5+ years of related experience
Knowledge of evaluating reliability of materials, properties and techniques used in production
Ability to plan, design and develop electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment and packaging, optical systems and/or DSP systems
Ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Ability to network with key contacts outside own area of expertise
Ability to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
Ability to coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead)

Post-graduate coursework may be desirable
