VP of Mergers & Acquisitions
Confidencial is seeking a Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to lead strategic initiatives related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. The role involves identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic opportunities to drive growth and enhance company value while working closely with senior executives and external advisors.

Responsibilities
M&A Strategy Development: Develop and execute the company’s M&A strategy, identifying potential targets, strategic fit, and growth opportunities that align with overall business objectives
Deal Sourcing & Evaluation: Lead the sourcing and evaluation of M&A opportunities, including conducting in-depth financial, strategic, and operational due diligence to assess risk and potential return
Transaction Execution: Manage the end-to-end M&A process, including deal structuring, negotiations, drafting term sheets, and coordinating with legal and financial advisors to finalize transactions
Integration Leadership: Oversee the integration of acquired businesses, ensuring smooth transition, cultural alignment, and realization of synergies. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate financial, operational, and technological systems
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with senior executives, finance, legal, and operations teams to align on M&A objectives, timelines, and post-transaction goals
Financial Analysis & Modeling: Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and scenario planning to assess the potential impact of M&A transactions on company growth and value
Risk Management & Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks associated with M&A transactions, including regulatory, financial, and operational risks. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to the executive team, the Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders on M&A progress, key risks, and transaction milestones
Market Intelligence: Stay informed of market trends, competitor activity, and potential M&A opportunities to position the company as a leader in strategic acquisitions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, or related roles
Strong leadership and management skills
Exceptional financial analysis, valuation, and modeling skills
Strong negotiation skills and experience with deal structuring
Knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements in the relevant sector
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred
MBA or other advanced degrees
Experience in executing international M&A transactions
Global mindset and understanding of cross-border legal, regulatory, and cultural dynamics
