They are seeking a Water Wastewater Project Engineer to provide technical expertise and leadership while managing water/wastewater engineering projects, including planning, design, and construction phases.

Responsibilities
Evaluate, plan, design, permit and support management of projects for water/wastewater and conveyance (pipelines, treatment, and pumping facilities)
Support professional engineering services during construction: construction observation, review of shop drawings, responses to request for information (RFIs) and permit closeouts
Overseeing the development of design calculations, technical report sections, technical design drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of project requirements
Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials while actively participating in client meetings to foster effective client communication and project alignment
Ensuring project compliance with all Arcadis practices and maintaining quality, health, and safety standards
Facilitating coordination for timely project completion within budget constraints
Work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting
Supervising and supporting the work of others, as well as mentoring junior-level engineering and design/drafting staff
Travel for project site visits, client meetings, safety audits, general planning purposes, or overseeing construction activities based on project staffing needs
Adaptability, strong leadership skills, and a dedicated commitment to ensuring the successful delivery of water and wastewater projects in adherence to industry best practices and standards
Qualification
Required
8 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or a related field of study
Professional Engineering (PE) License
Preferred
10 years of relevant water/wastewater experience
Master of Science/Engineering in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field of study
Experience in design or consulting engineering or Municipal work environment
Project task leadership experience including managing overall project delivery expectations, prioritizing tasks, and mentoring
Active participation in regional and/or national professional association(s)
