Responsibilities

Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of commercial and small business relationships, with an emphasis on SBA and CRE lending

Originate, structure, and close commercial loans in accordance with bank policy and regulatory guidelines

Develop new business through referrals, community involvement, and professional networks

Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, providing tailored lending and deposit solutions

Conduct thorough credit analysis, financial statement review, and risk assessment

Prepare and present loan requests to internal credit committees as required

Maintain strong asset quality through proactive portfolio management and ongoing client communication

Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

Represent the bank positively in the Abilene community and support the bank’s community-focused mission
