Recruiter (OKC/FT) Safety Sensitive - Driving
Mathis Home is a company that is committed to maintaining a drug-free work environment and is seeking a Recruiter to join their team. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the applicant tracking system, coordinating hiring processes, and providing administrative support to the Human Resource Department.

Responsibilities
Maintain applicant tracking system
Attend job fairs
Update online job boards (Indeed, College job boards, etc.) & in-house electronic job boards
Work with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
Screen and interview applicants using interview guidelines (behavioral based interviewing)
Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants
Coordinate and schedule background checks and drug testing in the Oklahoma City area, and other areas as needed
Enter and make changes for new employees, rehires, and transfers in HRIS (UKG)
Assist with coordinating new hire employee orientation
Ensure that human resource files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures
Prepare job postings for hiring database as well as weekly internal job postings
Provide administrative support to the Human Resource Department including, but not limited to, distributing mail, filing, faxing, and copying
Sort and distribute paychecks
Compile and input payroll information into HRIS
Prepare payroll reports as needed
Enter changes to W-4 elections, direct deposits, address changes, etc. Back up other Human Resource staff as needed
Qualification
Required
Experience in interviewing required
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to handle confidential information
Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver's license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years
Positive attitude when working with customers
Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures
Ability to perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion
Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred; but not required
Experience in all areas of human resource duties or equivalent education
