2026 Associate Systems Engineer/Systems Engineer
Northrop Grumman is a leader in technological advancements and is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer/Systems Engineer to join their Product Support Organization. The role involves technical planning, system integration, and supportability analyses for total systems, ensuring quality and delivery during the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities
Plans and executes schedules for engineering design package development and release to meet mission needs
Technical impact assessment, planning and strategy for change implementation
Gathering of data, requirements development, interfacing with suppliers, and performing basic stress and tolerance analysis
Acting as manufacturing liaison during build process of projects to ensure overall quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved
Development of test plans and performing environmental testing of Support Equipment
Testing and integration of manufactured Support Equipment
Basic knowledge of design and analysis tools for mechanical design as well as basic drafting skills to include a working knowledge of solid modeling techniques (NX, Pro Engineer, or Catia)
Qualification
Required
Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start
Be completing or has completed their Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience
Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
