Belle Tire is a growing retail organization that offers meaningful, hands-on experience for interns. As a Purchasing Intern, you'll support the Purchasing team and learn about sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing decisions while contributing to active projects and building skills for a future career in supply chain or procurement.

Responsibilities

Learn about our business by attending meetings, huddles and trainings
Gain exposure to the day-to-day functions and strategy of the Purchasing department
Build relationships, make connections and network with professionals and your peers
Share creative ideas that will help improve our business
Assist in creating reports, analyze metrics and summarize information
Assist in creating materials and/or presentations
Send out communications, respond to phone calls/e-mails and overall provide support to Belle Tire retail locations
Complete a purchasing related project and present final product to senior leadership

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing or related field
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
