Simplot Grower Solutions is looking to fill a seasonal Truck Driver/Warehouse position, primarily responsible for operating trucks, delivering fertilizer and chemicals, and assisting with plant operations.

Responsibilities

Operate fertilizer truck, fill application equipment, and support plant operations as needed

May assist with recordkeeping related to warehouse/inventory responsibilities

Maintain and keep trucks clean

Performs varied responsibilities such as: equipment and plant maintenance including welding, pump and engine overhauls, painting, and general housekeeping responsibilities

Loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers

Miscellaneous duties such as assisting with special projects, attending training sessions, providing back-up when needed, etc

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Must hold and maintain a Class A or B CDL and appropriate driving record

Must be able to lift 50lbs

Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job

Preferred

Truck driving experience preferred

Knowledge of local rural geography is a plus

Knowledge of farm operations is a plus

HazMat and Tanker Endorsements preferred
