Student Asst -Leave- FWS

The CHR Leave Student Assistant will assist with Leave team duties, including managing email communications, categorizing documents, and supporting the Workers' Compensation reporting process.

Responsibilities
Categorize email for FMLA, ADA, and WC
Answer initial/basic emails
Categorize and reassign journeys
Name faxes and distribute to appropriate departments, and put faxes in the shredder
Pick up, review, and distribute mail via scanning and email
Scan and archive WC files
15, 7, 3-day notice in regards to certifications or forms – Mail merge
Return to work note follow-up
Assisting with WC monthly reports
Saving DWC 25 and follow up with the department
Qualification
Required
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent
Applicant must possess strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to work independently and prioritize, good follow-up skills, and experience with Microsoft Office Products
Students must also be enrolled in at least six USF credit hours while employed and have a 2.0 USF GPA minimum
Applicant must have a current and accepted Federal Work Study (FWS) award for the current academic year in order to apply for this position
Applicants are asked to demonstrate proof of their FWS award
