Review, clinical abstraction, analysis, and interpretation of hospital registry data
Ensure compliance with nationally recognized quality patient care processes and clinical outcomes standards

Qualification

Clinical data abstractionACC/STS clinical databasesMedical terminologyElectronic medical record (EPIC)Clinical cardiology experienceAdministrative support trainingSupplemental trainingApplicable licensure

Required

A minimum 5 years' experience in a clinical cardiology-related setting required
Working knowledge of ACC/STS clinical databases required
Recent, substantial and direct hospital registry data abstraction/analyst experience
Experience with medical terminology required
Proficient with the electronic medical record (EPIC)

Preferred

RN preferred or graduate from a health management program preferred
Pursuing a degree in a related health or medical program preferred or 10+ years related experience
Administrative support training preferred
Supplemental training in area of specialty preferred
Applicable licensure preferred but not essential with substantial and strong abstraction/analyst experience
