Responsibilities
Coordinates any Automation engineering related activity at all locations, in conjunction with operational leadership and applicable safety requirements
Supports capital assessment and implementation with both internal and external partners
Interacts with vendors to accomplish product selection, and engineering review and solution procurement
Collaborates with facilitates project management to ensure quality delivery
Applies lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste in all areas of the position
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering and professional engineering certification. Degree can be in any of the disciplines – architecture, mechanical, civil, structural, or electrical
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Preferred
Robotics and automated material handling systems Conveyor, AS/RS (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems), or other warehouse automation technologies
Integration of automation with IT/OT systems (networking, MES, data simulation tools such as Flexsim (e.g. for layouts or process modeling)
Data analysis tools (basic SQL, Python, or advanced Excel for system performance)
