Financial Controller

KOTRA Global Talent Center is supporting LIG Nex1 Co., Ltd., a leading defense and aerospace company. They are seeking a Financial Controller to oversee timely closing, consolidation, compliance, and financial planning for its U.S. operations, partnering closely with headquarters and U.S.-based entities.

Responsibilities

Provide timely and accurate closing data to LIG Nex1 headquarters in accordance with required formats and deadlines
Perform quarterly IFRS conversion of financial statements and support alignment between US GAAP and IFRS/K-IFRS reporting requirements
Support quarterly consolidated closing for LNGR, including preparation of quarterly consolidated financial statements
Analyze financial performance and closing results, including asset/liability movements, revenue, cost of goods sold, and operating expenses
Support business planning for Ghost Robotics, including forecasting for order intake, revenue, profit, and cash flow (planning cadence to be jointly determined)
Analyze variances between forecasts/plans and actual results, and identify potential financial risks and key drivers
Build, enhance, and operate internal accounting control systems to ensure proper governance and reliable reporting
Ensure compliance with US GAAP, K-IFRS, and applicable U.S. and Korean regulations through close collaboration with relevant teams
Document key accounting policies and ensure consistency with LIG Nex1’s accounting standards under US GAAP

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or audit
Eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance is required
Active AICPA/CPA license required
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS/K-IFRS
Korean: fluent proficiency required

Preferred

English: native-level proficiency preferred
