Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities
Responsible for Month-end Close activities including preparing journal entries, accruals, and reclasses to other divisions/functions
Prepare Flash reports and Actuals commentary vs. various benchmarks
Own the monthly Portfolio Management Review (PMR) financial dashboards and lead review meetings
Prepare slides for Portfolio Review meetings with BU leadership, including supporting the Project Management Office with R&D resource planning and project spend prioritization
Participate in the development of Plan/LBEs/OEM cycles by updating templates and file build-ups to collect information from business partners to ensure forecast are captured accurately
Assist with Total R&D Headcount reporting
Consolidate Total R&D P&Ls across all R&D groups (R&D, Clinical Affairs, Medical and Scientific Affairs, and RA)
Load LBEs into the PowerOn planning system, along with loading the R&D by Project cube for use by Transfer Pricing
Approving Purchase Orders along with providing other ad hoc support to key business partners
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
Excellent communication, organizational skills, strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet set deadlines
Minimum of 2-5 years of applicable experience
Preferred
Record of a strong analytical / problem-solving skills and the capability to conduct complex data analysis
Previous experience working with large amounts of data and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
