Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and expand data pipelines in Python/Spark while meeting uptime SLAs
Architect and develop shared libraries in Scala and Python to standardize complex business logic
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to deliver impactful data solutions
Develop and document internal and external standards for pipeline configurations, naming conventions, partitioning strategies, and more
Ensure dataset quality, operational efficiency, and reliability for stakeholders across Engineering, Data Science, Operations, and Analytics
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuously improve team processes
Engage with internal customers to understand priorities and contribute to innovative solutions
Maintain detailed documentation to support data quality and governance

Required

5+ years of experience developing large-scale data pipelines
Strong Scala, SQL and Python skills; experience with distributed processing systems (Spark)
Familiarity with AWS or other cloud provider resources (S3, etc.)
Hands-on experience with pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow)
Strong algorithmic problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to business partners
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies
Bachelor's Degree + 5 years of relevant experience

Preferred

Experience with clickstream or user browsing data
