Responsibilities
Lead the Creative Process: Guide clients through inspiration, concept development, and design proposals that balance story, mood, budget, and innovation
Grow Design-Driven Business: Build and maintain a portfolio of loyal clients and industry partners through authentic relationships and repeat/referral business
Collaborate to Execute: Partner with design, production, and operations teams to ensure every detail is planned, aligned, and executed at the highest level
Own Event Execution: Attend and oversee events on-site, making real-time creative decisions to ensure the final experience matches the original vision
Qualification
Required
Proven ability to manage the full sales and client lifecycle, from prospecting through post-event follow-up
Strong communication skills with confidence presenting creative ideas and proposals
5+ years of experience in events, hospitality, or a related industry
Proficiency in design and presentation tools (Canva, AI design tools, Outlook; Caterease a plus)
The role requires frequent attendance at client meetings, site visits, and events, often outside of normal business hours
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedules and client needs
Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, capable of managing multiple high-priority events simultaneously while maintaining a calm and organized approach
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events, sometimes in demanding conditions
Capability to lift and carry design/floral equipment (up to 50 lbs.), particularly during event setup or breakdown
