Responsibilities

Lead the team's requalification efforts and ensure the design meets our technical and design requirements
Assist with program planning, funding requests, schedule tracking, qualification plan reviews, providing program status, and driving execution of the individual qualification efforts
Support production activities for the gas generator D5LE production
Ensure our designs adhere to Common Integrated Processes as documented in Command Media, and drive process improvement into the design culture
Provide solution based technical mentoring to improve program performance and to drive error free design using proven tools, processes and predictive measures

Required

Experience working with external customers and/or suppliers
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide technical and/or programmatic solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
Understanding of scheduling and planning to meet contractual milestones and deliverables
Practical teamwork skills and/or experience leading a project, contract, or long-term effort
Willingness to engage and understand the technical product baseline

Preferred

Previous experience with Production, Solid Rocket Motors, or FBM processes
Experience with Microsoft Project and/or OpenPlan software to create and manage Integrated Master Schedules
Organized, flexible, have strong interpersonal skills, take initiative, manage multiple tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Previous proposal, Statement-of-Work (SOW), Basis-of-Estimates (BOE), and/or Technical Evaluation (TE) experience
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues
Understanding of Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and managing performance metrics
