Senior Project Manager
Dashiell Corporation is a company specializing in high voltage engineering projects, and they are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the development and execution of these projects. The role involves coordinating with clients, managing project planning and budgeting, and overseeing project teams through to completion.

Responsibilities
Participate in the project proposal and bid process in conjunction with the Sales department
Negotiate, approve and execute prime contracts, subcontracts, and change orders
Review, evaluate and implement project specifications, drawing releases and design changes
Communicate project status, risks, schedule and costs to all internal and external stakeholders
Develop, review and approve internal and external project reports including project budgeting, project cash flow forecast, and project status reports
Routinely present project updates to senior management
Lead multi-discipline project team in support of assigned project
Direct and oversee the subcontract bid process and prepare detailed scope of work documents for Supplier and Subcontract contracts
Develop, implement, execute and oversee Prime Contract and Subcontractor invoicing process
Direct the securing of applicable project permits
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management or related field is required
Ten years of experience in the supervision/management of budgets and work groups is required
Understand financial aspects of project controls
Ability to negotiate and influence key decision makers
Technical writing skills with an understanding of business management concepts
Proficient in cost control or project management software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Travel to project sites as necessary
Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship
Preferred
Experience in managing high voltage projects is strongly preferred
Demonstrated understanding of substations, substation control and transmission systems is strongly preferred
