Responsibilities

Support engagement team and clients with the First Sale for Export program, ensuring compliance with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations
Conduct detailed transactional reviews to verify eligibility for First Sale valuation and document compliance requirements
Research, write, and review international trade advice
Formulate ideas and deliver possible trade savings opportunities
Build capabilities in key technologies that enable professionals to enhance client service delivery such as artificial intelligence (AI), Power BI, and more
Aid client engagements by preparing reports, summaries, and presentations related to First Sale for Export strategies
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Required

Minimum one year of recent experience in a business environment (accounting firm, professional services firm, law firm or other consulting/business entity) with a preference for experience in trade compliance, valuations, international consulting, supply chain or economics
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business (supply chain, logistics, finance, or other business-related major), international affairs (international studies, political science), international trade, data analytics, or related degree, or an equivalent program from an accredited college or university is required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and more)
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication/presentation skills
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred

Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Ability to plan and conduct in-depth reviews of transactional data using data and analytics preferred
Previous experience with artificial intelligence (AI), Alteryx, and Power BI preferred
