Responsibilities
Build and execute an enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition Strategy and supporting Sourcing Strategies, which are nuanced for different populations (executive recruiting, front line employees, etc). Lead the design and implementation of a cohesive, forward-looking strategy that strengthens Exelon’s ability to attract, source, assess, and onboard top talent. Align the sourcing and recruiting approach with business needs, strategic workforce planning priorities, and future skill requirements to ensure Exelon remains competitive in a rapidly evolving labor market. (30%)
Build and scale strategic Talent Acquisition capabilities and practices. Establish enterprise-wide frameworks, tools, and governance that enhance recruiting effectiveness and quality of hire. Advance data-driven practices, talent market analytics, technology utilization, and capability development across operating companies to ensure Exelon’s Talent Acquisition function remains modern, agile, and high-impact. (20%)
Lead University Recruiting and Early Career Programs. Develop and implement a unified university recruiting strategy that builds early-career talent pipelines in partnership with operating company talent teams. Ensure consistent execution and measurable outcomes. (15%)
Develop and lead a One Exelon Onboarding Strategy. Design and scale a consistent, engaging onboarding experience that enhances connection, accelerates productivity, and reinforces Exelon’s culture and values. (15%)
Integrate Workforce Development initiatives and data storytelling. Serve as the enterprise integrator for workforce development programs and partnerships, ensuring alignment with business needs and community impact goals. Consolidate insights and outcomes into a unified, data-driven One Exelon story that highlights program effectiveness and progress. (10%)
Oversee enterprise systems, policy, and training governance. Lead immigration policy ownership, pre-employment testing strategy, vendor management (including preferred vendors for executive search), talent acquisition technology oversight, and enterprise-wide recruiter and hiring manager training. (5%)
Lead and develop a high-performing team. Provide leadership, direction, and development for the Talent Acquisition and Workforce Development team as outlined in the organizational structure. Foster collaboration, accountability, and innovation in support of enterprise goals. (5%)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or HR in a large, matrixed organization
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise-wide recruiting and sourcing strategies aligned to business objectives
Proven ability to apply data and analytics to inform decisions, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement
Expertise in building and scaling strategic Talent Acquisition capabilities and practices
Experience leading early-career and onboarding programs
Strong collaboration and influencing skills across multiple HR functions and operating companies
Strategic, consultative, and creative mindset; able to design scalable, enterprise-wide talent acquisition solutions
Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team
Preferred
Master's degree in HR, Business, or Organizational Psychology
Familiarity with immigration policy management and compliance
Certification in HR or Talent disciplines (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PROSCI)
Demonstrated success leveraging technology and data insights to enhance recruiting outcomes
