Is responsible in conjunction with the Medical Director, Administrative Manager and Nurse Manager for all the technical aspects of dialysis care in the assigned unit

Dialysis experienceLPN licenseBiomedical technologyMechanical aptitudeElectronic circuitryTroubleshooting skillsAnalytical skillsBasic electronic testingB.M.E.T. internship

Required

Two years dialysis experience required
Minimum of associate's degree in science or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree
Current certification as dialysis technician or current LPN license in the state of Michigan
Associates degree in electronics/biomedical technology, or two years equivalent experience, to include military, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), or industry recognized technical training program
Proven mechanical aptitude and analytical skills for understanding electronic circuitry and for trouble-shooting biomedical/electronic equipment
Proven use of basic electronic testing equipment

Preferred

Completion of a B.M.E.T. internship
