Responsibilities
Train, supervise, evaluate, and develop the billing team
Oversee client billing processes and ensure strict deadline compliance
Train attorneys and staff on billing procedures, policies, and tools
Review, correct, and finalize invoices in compliance with client requirements
Maintain and update client matrices
Oversee collections and resolve billing/AR inquiries
Create weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end billing reports and calculate incentives
Partner with leadership/technology on billing system development and improvements
Qualification
Required
Legal Billing Leadership Experience Required
Must be local to Calabasas and willing to be onsite 2–3x/week
Strong experience managing and developing a billing team
Legal e-billing experience required (TyMetrix / LegalX)
Advanced Excel skills required
Client is looking for a billing leader, not just an administrator
Coaching mindset: lead, teach, correct, and develop
Preferred
Aderant experience is a plus
