Key Account Manager - East
UPTIME Energy, Inc. is a rapidly growing energy drink company offering a clean alternative to traditional energy drinks. They are seeking a motivated Key Account Manager to drive sales and visibility of their brands by partnering with distributors and retailers in a defined territory.
Responsibilities
Actively pursue business development and sales within an area of responsibility
Develop impactful professional relationships at all levels of the Uptime Sports Nutrition organization, as well as the customers' organizations
Collaborate with teammates and/or DSD network for optimal alignment, retail execution, and performance of products
Identify opportunities to improve processes and apply best practices
Develop retail strategies to support optimal performance with retailers
Keep all parties informed on market dynamics and competitive activities
Develop professional presentations for use with retailers
Manage introduction of new products specific to retailer category review dates
Calling on local/regional/national chains to open as new customers and/or to manage ongoing to increase sales & distribution
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five years Key Account Management in the Grocery/C-Store channel
Experience working with DSDs, broad liners and brokers
Impactful listening, speaking, writing and selling skills
Ability to communicate with all stakeholders professionally and efficiently both verbally and in written form
Knowledge of sales contracts with the ability to negotiate terms
Excellent prioritization and organization skills
Highly effective in independent-work roles
Energized by others, collaborative
Strong analytical and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Nielsen/IRI software)
Up to 50% travel based on home location
Preferred
