Responsibilities

Drive the discovery, development, and optimization of intuitive, scalable onboarding flows, in‑app guidance, and user surveys—ensuring each plays a critical role in empowering patients, providers, and partners and advancing PLG initiatives
Build reusable onboarding modules that adapt across platforms and user types, driving consistency and reducing development overhead
Implement, own, and optimize product analytics and engagement platforms (e.g., Pendo, Amplitude) in partnership with Product Operations, defining KPIs and dashboards for product usage and engagement
Partner with design, regulatory, engineering, and data teams to apply advanced analytics and experimentation in building compliant, user‑friendly onboarding and in‑app education flows
Champion in-app guidance and onboarding experiences that are personalized, localized, and accessible — meeting users where they are, with what they need
Work closely with Experience Group Product Managers to align onboarding with broader user journeys, ensuring setup flows contribute meaningfully to long-term engagement

Qualification

Required

5+ years in product management or related field, preferably in medical devices or other regulated spaces
Able to work successfully with ambiguity and in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable building and managing engagement and experimentation tools
Leveraging product-usage patterns, metrics, and feedback to continuously refine onboarding, adoption, and retention strategies
Deep empathy for patients, caregivers, and providers
Passion for designing onboarding and education experiences that are intuitive, inclusive, and confidence-building
Ability to architect modular, scalable onboarding flows that work across diverse platforms and user types
Skilled at partnering with engineering, design, regulatory, and product teams to align on goals, solve complex problems, and deliver compliant, high-quality solutions
Experience defining and managing product roadmaps, balancing short-term wins with long-term scalability and reuse across multiple apps and platforms
Understanding of how onboarding and education integrates with identity, data ingest, and reporting services
Able to translate experience goals into functional requirements
Focused on measurable impact — high completion rates, reduced support volume, and increased retention post-onboarding
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience
At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience
