Responsibilities

Design, build, and test critical components and services for our fish processing system
Own the execution and testing of software features from development to deployment
Collaborate in a multi disciplinary team to improve robot behavior, sensor integration, and data pipelines
Investigate failure modes while robots are deployed onboard fishermen boats

Qualification

Required

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
5+ years of previous experience on a Software or Robotics role
Experience owning a significant project in C++ or Python
Passion for developing clean and organized software and testing methods
Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional setting
Ability to break down complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to different audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desire to mentor more junior engineers on the team
Desire to learn new technologies and to apply them to solve real-world challenges
