New Grad, Entry LevelSchell Brothers is a high-producing residential interior decorating firm, and they are seeking a Design Assistant to support their business efforts. This role involves providing administrative and design support, managing client communications, and assisting with various design responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Acts as the first point of contact for clients in the studio and on the phone by responding in a professional and courteous manner
Greets all visitors and guests upon entering the studio and provides appropriate assistance
Learns and uses language of design, window treatments, and home furnishings to assist clients in getting oriented to the space and our process
Follow Up with homeowner leads to schedule design appointments
Maintains a daily check of the studio to ensure cleanliness and tidiness. Periodically needed to help merchandise and reset the studio. Updating samples and merchandise pricing on as needed basis
Manages phone traffic including, but not limited to, answering and directing calls, retrieving and forwarding messages from voicemail and activating messages system at end of the day
Updates HubSpot contact records where appropriate
Assist Designer with Model Home lookbooks, proposals, and installation and delivery of the home. Occasional travel may be required
Assist Designer with product pricing, availability, and clarification on as needed basis

Knowledge of retail, interior design, or furniture
Proficient in Microsoft applications: PowerPoint, Excel and Google Suite of Products
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding
Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills
Works well under stress with the ability to deliver on time
Excellent verbal and written communications

Familiar with HubSpot
Familiar with BigCommerce or Shopify
Familiar with Square Point-of-Sale
Familiar with Fyle
Familiar with Google Applications including Gmail, Sheets, Slides, and Drive
Familiar with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
