Civil Engineer Transportation Advanced - Traffic Engineer
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is seeking a Civil Engineer Transportation Advanced to join their engineering team. This role involves providing engineering direction and guidance in the development of transportation projects and ensuring compliance with traffic control standards.

Responsibilities
Provide engineering direction and guidance to engineering technicians, engineering specialists and other civil engineers
Provide highly technical guidance and acceptance in all stages of development of the Transportation Management Plan (TMP) for projects in the region
Have knowledge of rules and guidelines pertaining to permanent traffic control standards, work zone traffic control and traffic management/mobility requirements
Assist with the development, coordination, and PS&E submittal of signing and marking plans and traffic mitigation contracts
Participate in the Region review of Traffic Impact Analysis for land use Development, which may affect the operation of the STH systems
Assist the planning unit in determining the effects of a land development and also type of remediation may be required for that development
Qualification
Required
A valid Professional Engineering registration and be able to obtain a Wisconsin PE registration within 3 months if PE registration is from another state
