ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER III
The State of Maryland is seeking an Administrative Officer III for the Maryland State Police, Forensic Sciences Division. The role involves serving as a liaison for forensic casework, coordinating information and facilitating sample collection related to sexual assault kits.

Responsibilities
Review the SAEK paperwork for those cases assigned by MSP-FSD to determine if additional case scenario information or known standards are required
Facilitate the collection of additional required case scenario information and additional reference samples by communicating with the submitting agency as applicable
Communicate with MSP-FSD staff regarding SAKI case status
Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
Three years of administrative staff or professional work
0ne year of experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
One year of experience demonstrating excellent organizational skills for email, reports, and liaising with others
One year of experience working in a law enforcement environment communicating with investigators concerning criminal investigations
Employees assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle must possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland
Preferred
Knowledge of the 'SAFE Kit Law'
Experience working with confidential information in an environment with exposure to sensitive material

Leave may be granted to a contractual employee who has worked 120 days in a 12 month period. This leave accrues at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked, not to exceed 40 hours per calendar year.
