Program Manager
Avionic Instruments LLC is a leading manufacturer in the design and manufacture of custom batteries and battery control electronics for military and commercial aircraft applications. As a Technical Program Manager, you will drive program success by collaborating across various functions to meet technical goals, budget constraints, and schedule commitments while building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities
Develop detailed program plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
Proactively identify risk areas and implement mitigation strategies to protect schedule and performance
Coordinate efforts across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver on customer requirements with excellence
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on program status, milestones, and technical or commercial issues
Oversee all production backlog related to Engineering, ensuring timely release to Manufacturing and alignment with customer expectations
Open, track, and close Engineering Work Orders in alignment with accounting systems to ensure accurate cost capture
Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop proposals, cost estimates, and schedules that help win future business
Identify and implement improvements in tools, processes, and collaboration to enhance program outcomes
Play a key role in strengthening internal product development workflows and cross-functional execution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or related discipline)
At least 3+ years in technical program/project management roles, preferably in aerospace, defense
Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams towards shared goals
Superior verbal and written communication skills – able to synthesize and present information to technical and executive stakeholders
Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining customer relationships
Solid understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and risk management in an engineering and manufacturing setting
Must be able to support standard business hours, Monday through Friday. Must also be able to support overtime on weekdays or weekends as required to support business needs
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
Due to the potential exposure to ITAR-controlled data and export control regulations, the applicant in this role must be a qualified U.S. person designated under INA, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) or be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government
