Responsibilities

Conducting inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate records in accordance with company standards
Reporting non-conformances and assisting in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
Collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
Using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters to verify product dimensions and performance
Supporting internal audits and participating in quality training sessions
Ensuring compliance with AAON’s quality management system and applicable industry standards
Promoting a culture of quality and accountability on the production floor

Qualification

Required

Requires a high school diploma or GED
Basic understanding of quality control principles and inspection techniques
Familiarity with mechanical and electrical components used in HVAC systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of Microsoft Office
Ability to identify defects and inconsistencies in products
Manual dexterity for operating inspection tools and equipment
Visual acuity for detailed inspections and reading technical documents
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Technical training or coursework in quality assurance, manufacturing, or HVAC systems
