Mid LevelPark Street Homes is on the lookout for a meticulous and detail-oriented Project Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our residential construction projects and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Construction
Responsibilities
Manage project budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses and revenues
Prepare and process project-related invoices and payments in a timely manner
Collaborate with project managers to assess project performance and identify financial risks
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and variance analysis
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit purposes
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Provide support for financial audits and assist in resolving discrepancies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience in project accounting or financial management, preferably in the construction industry
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Quickbooks experience required
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
