Responsibilities

Write and edit persuasive fundraising emails, SMS messages, and digital appeals

Rapidly respond to news cycles and political developments with clear, compelling copy

Collaborate with campaign strategists to develop messaging arcs and fundraising narratives

Adapt tone and content for different audiences, including base supporters and newer lists

Revise copy based on performance feedback and strategic goals

Occasionally assist with messaging for landing pages, donation forms, or social content as needed

Required

Comfort working independently in a fast-moving political environment

Excellent attention to detail and editorial judgment

Preferred

Experience working on statewide or federal campaigns

Familiarity with A/B testing, subject line strategy, and conversion-driven copy

Experience writing for email and SMS fundraising platforms

Ability to balance urgency with credibility and narrative integrity
