3+ years expAir Mechanical & Service Corp. is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager Assistant for Mechanical retrofit projects within the Tallahassee Florida area. The role involves managing projects from the planning phase to successful completion, ensuring safety, owner satisfaction, cost, schedule, and quality control.

Responsibilities
Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
Plan all operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
Acquire equipment and material timely to coincide with project duration
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Implement a project specific safety plan and attendance sheets
Creates and updates schedule
Attend project meetings
Distribute meeting minutes
Initiate and track all RFI’s, COR’s, CO’s and directives
Sub-Contractor coordination
Cost and quality control
Submittals, close out and as-builts documents
Interact and maintain constant communication with the Owner, Engineers, Sub-Contractors and employees
Qualification
Required
Proven verifiable experience in a comparable role (3 Years minimum)
In-depth understanding material and Project Manager principles
Familiarity with quality workmanship and safety standards
Good Knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with project management software
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with leadership abilities
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude
