Responsibilities

Analyzing operations, designing workflows and production processes, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that final products meet the established quality standards
Applying lean principles to design and optimize manufacturing processes that improve safety, efficiency and quality
Performing detailed time studies to analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement
Conducting value stream mapping and leading Kaizen events to identify and eliminate waste
Developing documentation and delivering training programs on 5S, Kaizen, and other lean tools
Collecting and analyze data to support decision-making and process improvements
Identifying and implementing strategies to reduce waste in materials, time, and processes
Leading and managing projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes, developing project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensuring timely completion

Required

B.S. or greater in Industrial Engineering or related field
2-4 years' experience as an Industrial Engineer completing relevant projects to improve safety, quality, delivery reliability and cost in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge and experience applying lean manufacturing techniques
Proficiency in data collection and analysis
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred

Experience working in a Manufacturing environment as an Industrial Engineer
Experience simulating manufacturing systems and processes
Experience with SAP or similar MRP system
AutoCAD or similar
6 Sigma certification
