Responsibilities
Proofread and copyedit manuscripts and promotional content
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity (CMOS preferred)
Provide thoughtful editorial suggestions while respecting the author’s voice
Collaborate with our team remotely via email and shared documents
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in proofreading or copyediting
Excellent grammar, punctuation, and language skills
Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style (or willingness to learn)
Ability to commit 15-20 hours per month
Passion for books that promotes empathy, inclusion, and awareness
