Atomic Semi is building a small, fast semiconductor fab. They are looking for an enthusiastic RF power engineering intern to develop compact RF systems and work closely with engineers on semiconductor plasma systems.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design of complete RF power systems from architecture to schematic to layout

Ensure accurate RF power diagnostics and metrology

Collaborate with engineers and scientists to gather system requirements

Help define of firmware requirements

Source components and lead manufacturing effort

Qualification

Required

Experience building of RF systems

RF resonant power amplifier design in the 100s of Watts range

RF power measurement sensor design

Hands on prototyping and testing

Cable harness design, documentation, and fabrication

A portfolio is required to apply: show us the things you've actually built!

If you've shipped a medium-to-high complexity system through a personal project or previous internship, you'd be a good fit here

Preferred

Advanced degree in power electronics or related field

Plasma systems experience

Systems engineering and integration
