Responsibilities
Research and analyze data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application
Designs products or systems such as rugged enclosures, chassis and LCD housings with proper, thermal or heat transfer
Directs and coordinates fabrication and installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications
Recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Solidworks
Proficient in PDM
Able to use document control system
Precision sheet metal and CNC milling design
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of experience related to packaging of electronic equipment/systems
Preferred
Experience with EMI/EMC design guidelines
Experience with injection molding
Experience with FEA and CFD
