Human Resource Generalist

Responsibilities
Assists the company in implementing and maintaining Human Resource processes for Terminations, Employee Relations, Work Comp and interdepartmental crossover topics
Provides guidance to managers in relation to the HR department best practices
Maintains confidentiality regarding personnel information
Responds to employee and manager inquiries in timely manner
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
HR Certification such as SHRM, PHR, HRCI preferred
Two or more years of experience in HR
Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written
Demonstrates skills in writing and communication
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations and guidelines related to termination and general HR
Skill in preparing detailed reports
Strong organizational skills
Ability to exercise considerable initiative and independent judgment
Ability to maintain confidential information
Attention to detail and ability to cope with several tasks and projects simultaneously
Ability to meet deadlines
Preferred
HR Certification such as SHRM, PHR, HRCI preferred
