Payroll Specialist
Office Suites PLUS is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processes for over 70 clients with a combined 5,000 employees. The role involves accurately processing payroll, managing data from multiple sources, and providing quality client service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities
Accurately processing and auditing payrolls for over 70+ clients with a combined 5,000 + employees
Weekly, bi-weekly, multi-state and multi-location payrolls
Effectively managing workflow volume & data from multiple sources to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner
Reconciling payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
Understanding proper taxation of employer paid benefits; multi-state & multi-location knowledge a plus
Processing correct garnishment calculations and compliance
Contacting clients in order to obtain payroll data, including salary adjustments, special payments, tax allocations, and employee deductions or adjustments
Preparing workers compensations audits
Responding to client questions regarding various aspects of how their payroll was processed, including questions regarding specific employees’ paychecks, or tax-related issues
Assisting in planning, and implementation of year-end processes, to provide accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, W-2c, etc.)
Providing quality client service to maintain a high rate of client retention
Establishing and maintaining a positive working relationship with clients, agencies, and coworkers to promote a positive quality service image
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Other duties/projects as requested by payroll supervisor
Qualification
Required
Accurately processing and auditing payrolls for over 70+ clients with a combined 5,000 + employees

2+ years of payroll processing experience required
Knowledge of multi-state taxes & garnishments
Intermediate PC knowledge
Self-directed, organized, and able to meet strict deadlines
Independently analyze and research complex issues, and provide resolution through effective client communication
Payroll: 2 years (Required)
Payroll processing: 2 years (Required)
Work authorization: United States (Required)
Preferred
Previous experience processing payroll for tipped employees is preferred
Web-based payroll software experience is preferred
